Guidelines

Commissions

If my art caught your eyes, here are my rates.
Please keep in mind that I specialize in drawing female characters. NSFW is ok.

  • Icon / Headshot 40€

  • Portraits / Above waist 90€

  • Fullbody 140€

Note that those are base prices and may vary depending on various factors (for example, character's complexity, background, artstyle or end usage).

General process

Client's approval is to be made between/after each phase.
After I get your approval, no change pertaining to the previous phase can be made. Please keep that in mind!

Terms of service for private commissions

By commissioning me, you hereby accept the terms of service that are displayed here.

01.
General Terms

  • Prices are subject to change based on demand.

  • I have the right to reject any order for any reason.

  • I will usually reply to business/commission inquiries between 24h~72h. Keep in mind that I am based in France, so timezones may differ.

02.
Payment

  • Payments are all to be done in EUR (€) through PayPal.

  • Payments can be done either 100% upfront, or 50% after approval + 50% before final delivery.

  • Don't send me any payment before I have agreed to give you a slot and requested you to send me the payment.

03.
Process & Delivery

  • Completion time will vary greatly depending on my schedule and on the commission's content itself. As such, it can range from a week to two months or more (for animations or very complex pieces, for example).

  • Completed artwork(s) will be delivered as .png in their original resolution, with additional resolutions or cropping on-demand (no extra cost, just ask me).

  • Note that there's no physical item delivery.

Revisions

  • Major revisions (change of pose, change of character, clothes or composition) are to be done during the sketch phase.

  • Once the sketch is done&approved by the client, major revisions will come at an extra cost.

  • Up to 1 major revision is included in the base price.

  • Minor revisions (color changes, expression changes, minor elements tweaks) will be analyzed on a per-case basis, but are generally ok, within reason.

  • For example, changing an element's color when the coloring phase isn't finalized yet is totally fine. But it might not be after the piece is complete.

Copyright & Usage

I (Kasseus Maximus/Kayseur):

  • As the artist, I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.

  • I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.

  • I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.

  • I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.

  • I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.

You (the customer/commissioner)

  • You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.

  • You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints, etc.) unless explicitly agreed upon beforehand.

  • You may alter the commissioned artwork even without my consent ONLY if you do not claim the original your own (adding filters to use it as an avatar or for a site's banner is totally ok for example).

  • You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).

  • You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes, unless explicitly agreed upon beforehand.

  • Commercial rights to the image may be purchased if necessary.

06.
Cancellation & refund policy

  • The buyer is not allowed a refund once I started working on the commission.

  • If for any reason I am unable to start your commission you will receive a full refund.

  • The buyer is NOT allowed a refund after the piece has been completed, even if you have a change of heart.

  • If you are getting a refund, do not request a Paypal chargeback. I will transfer the money back to you myself.

  • If you request a Paypal chargeback at any point when you were not allowed to ask for a refund you will lose all beforementioned rights to the commissioned piece and I will have the full right to profit further from it in any way. I will decline the chargeback and supply Paypal with our conversations in which we talk about the commission as evidence that I have completed work for you. Furthermore, you will be blacklisted for commissioning me again.
